“Stretchable, High-k Dielectric Elastomers through Liquid-Metal Inclusions” was accepted for publication in Advanced Materials and is now available online [publisher link] [pdf]. This work presents an all-soft-matter composite that exhibits a high dielectric constant, low stiffness, and large strain limit (ca. 600% strain). This exceptional combination of electro–elasto properties is enabled by embedding liquid-metal inclusions in an elastomer matrix.
