PNAS paper on Soft Robot inspired by Extinct Echinoderm

Our paper on a soft robot based on the anatomy of the extinct Pleurocystites is published in PNAS. The Pleurocystites was the first echinoderm capable of mobility using a muscular stem and has an important role in the evolution of limbed locomotion. It was fun working with Prof. Phil Leduc along with paleontologists Przemysław Gorzelak and Samuel Zamora on this very unique study!
