Liquid Crystal Elastomer Actuator with Embedded Soft Thermoelectric reported in Advanced Materials
New paper in Advanced Materials on a novel soft actuator composed of liquid crystal elastomer (LCE) embedded with soft thermoelectric films. This actuator is electrically controlled and uses thermoelectric coupling to convert heat and temperature gradients into electricity.
